The first films ever made.

 The oldest film made using a motion picture camera is the Roundhay Garden Scene. It was made in 1888 and lasts a total of 2.11 seconds. Its directory Louis Le Prince filmed at the estate of Joseph and Sarah Whitley in Roundhay leads near Yorkshire. It features the Whitley family walking around and laughing. It was filmed at 12 frames per second. Other films that came after it like the dickinson greeting, with a runtime of 3 seconds, Blacksmith Scene with a runtime of 34 seconds and the most famous one - Lumière Brothers’ 10 short films were all silent, black and white, and very short. They were all depicting scenes from real life like a train ariving at a platform or Blacksmiths doing their job. None of them had any story or dialoge in them.
